01. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the JH Decor website and your purchase of products from us. By accessing our website, browsing our catalogue, or completing a purchase, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these terms.
If you do not agree with any part of these terms, we kindly ask that you refrain from using our services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and users of our platform.
02. Products & Descriptions
JH Decor specialises in premium wooden furniture and bespoke home décor, crafted with natural materials and artisan techniques. We take care to present our products as accurately as possible through photographs, descriptions, and dimensions.
However, please note the following with respect to natural materials:
- Natural wood has inherent variation in grain pattern, tone, and texture. These are not defects — they are the authentic character of the material.
- Screen colours may differ slightly from the actual product due to monitor calibration differences.
- Minor dimensional tolerances of ±5mm are standard in handcrafted pieces.
- Product images are representative; actual finishes may have subtle natural variation.
We believe this honesty strengthens trust between us and our customers. If you have specific expectations, we encourage you to reach out before ordering.
03. Placing an Order
When you place an order with JH Decor, you are making an offer to purchase the product(s) at the stated price and specifications. An order is confirmed only when you receive a written confirmation from our team — via email or message.
- We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of pricing errors or unavailability of materials.
- For catalogue items, production typically begins within 1–3 business days of confirmation.
- For custom orders, production begins only after design, dimensions, and finish are mutually agreed upon in writing.
- Any changes to an order after confirmation must be communicated immediately and are subject to feasibility.
Order Confirmation: Please ensure all details — dimensions, finish, delivery address — are correct at the time of placing your order. JH Decor cannot be held responsible for errors that arise from information provided by the customer.
04. Pricing & Payment
All prices listed are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Prices are subject to change without prior notice; however, the price at the time of your confirmed order will be honoured.
We accept the following payment methods:
- Bank Transfer (NEFT / IMPS / RTGS)
- UPI Payment
- Cheque (for bulk or institutional orders, subject to clearance)
- Other methods as agreed upon at the time of order
For most orders, we require a 50% advance payment at the time of confirmation, with the remaining balance due prior to or at the time of delivery. For custom and large orders, payment schedules are agreed upon individually.
JH Decor does not store any payment credentials. All financial transactions are the sole responsibility of the buyer and their banking institution. Please retain your payment receipts for reference.
05. Custom & Bespoke Orders
A significant part of what we do at JH Decor is crafting pieces made entirely to your vision — specific dimensions, wood species, finishes, and design details. These bespoke orders are treated with special care, and come with their own set of terms.
- All custom specifications must be confirmed in writing before production begins.
- Changes requested after production has commenced may incur additional charges or may not be possible.
- Custom orders are non-cancellable once materials have been sourced and work has started.
- Lead times for bespoke pieces vary based on complexity — we will provide an estimated timeline at the time of order confirmation.
- JH Decor retains the right to photograph completed custom pieces for portfolio and promotional purposes unless the customer expressly requests otherwise.
We consider custom orders a collaboration, and we communicate proactively throughout the process to ensure the final piece exceeds your expectations.
05. Delivery & Risk
JH Decor ships across India. Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary based on your location, courier availability, and order complexity. We will share tracking information as soon as your order is dispatched.
- Risk of damage passes to the customer upon delivery. We strongly recommend inspecting the packaging before accepting the delivery.
- If packaging appears visibly damaged, please note this on the courier’s delivery record before accepting.
- Delivery charges, where applicable, are shared at the time of order confirmation and are not included in the product price unless specifically stated.
- JH Decor is not responsible for delays caused by third-party logistics partners, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Installation: Unless separately arranged and agreed, JH Decor’s responsibility ends upon delivery. Assembly or installation services, if offered, will be communicated separately with applicable terms.
06. Intellectual Property
All content on the JH Decor website — including product photographs, design illustrations, written content, the JH Decor name, logo, and tagline — is the intellectual property of JH Decor and is protected under applicable Indian copyright and trademark laws.
- You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or use any of our content for commercial purposes without express written permission.
- Our furniture designs, whether standard or custom, remain the creative property of JH Decor unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Unauthorised use of our brand name, imagery, or designs may result in legal action.
We welcome genuine appreciation and sharing of our work on personal social media with appropriate credit. We simply ask that our craftsmanship and brand identity are respected.
08. Limitation of Liability
JH Decor’s liability in any claim arising from a purchase or use of our products is limited to the value of the specific order in question. We are not liable for:
- Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from product use
- Damages resulting from improper use, maintenance, or installation by the customer
- Natural wear and deterioration of wood over time
- Loss of data or business arising from website unavailability
We do, however, stand fully behind the quality of our craftsmanship. If a genuine manufacturing defect is identified within a reasonable period, we will address it in good faith as described in our Refund & Returns Policy.
09. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from your use of our website or purchase of our products shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Churu, Rajasthan.
We always prefer to resolve concerns through direct, open dialogue before any formal process. We invite you to contact us first — we are confident most matters can be resolved amicably.
10. Amendments to These Terms
JH Decor reserves the right to update or revise these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
Continued use of our website or services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If a change materially affects an existing order, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you directly.

These terms exist to protect both you and us — not to create distance. We are a small, passionate team dedicated to the craft of fine wooden furniture, and every customer who chooses JH Decor becomes part of that story.
